string of lights.

You know, the ones that I start and then leave for 7 months, then start again, then leave for a year. It’s just a little non-constructiony project, but I’ve been plugging away at making the Master Bedroom a little less horrifying and I think it’s coming along nicely.

It’s not the big huge complete tear-down renovation that we want to do in here eventually, but it’s worth it to me to just do a few little things to make daily life a little more enjoyable in the meantime.Waking up in a happy room and turning on a pretty lamp is going to make all the difference in those 3 am feedings with the new baby for me.Sometimes I see other bloggers do these posts where they share where they got everything and how much they paid for it, and I usually just love those.

Maybe it’s my inner nosy girl coming out.So I thought I’d do something like that, and share all the little things left to get done along the way.

Sound like fun?.

So, just to give you an idea, here’s how the room started out looking about 2 months ago:.Having someone to help with that has really made all the difference and has even helped my Pinterest account grow and thrive in a way that I was never able to do on my own.

If you’re a blogger, then you know how much traffic Pinterest can generate so having help in this one key area has really been worth it to me..There are days when working even an hour is just not going to happen, and I love that with my system, that’s totally OK. I’ll often take Sundays off completely just because the whole family’s home, or we’re working on a project for the house, or I’m just tired and want to have a day to relax and forget that I have a business that I could be working on at any given moment.

It’s important..If you find yourself feeling like you need to do more and more everyday just to keep up with the rest of the blogging world, I totally understand where you’re coming from.
